Extensive Fabrication Capabilities
Our Kwinana facility offers a truly diverse range of capabilities. With over 11,000 square meters of fabrication space across five large bays, our team has the space and expertise to tackle projects of all sizes. We specialise in piping, structural steel, and heavy plate fabrication, utilising a wide range of materials, from basic carbon steel to exotic options. With advanced plant and welding equipment alongside a reliable supply of power, oxy/LPG, welding gases, and compressed air, our workshops are well-equipped to handle your every fabrication need, across every project type.
Advanced Welding Capabilities
Our highly productive fabrication facility utilises advanced semi-automatic and manual welding equipment, including submerged arc (SAW), STT, TIG, GMAW, and MMAW. Our welding processes adhere to strict client requirements and comply with high-end international standards, including DNV, ASME IX, AS2885, ASME B31.3, AS 1554, and AWS D1.1.
With over 1600 Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQRs), Altrad Australia boasts extensive welding experience in the oil & gas, mining, and industrial sectors. We are prequalified to weld a wide range of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, aluminum, CRA clad, super duplex, Inconel, copper nickel, and more.
