Altrad (formerly Valmec), working alongside Exterran (the equipment OEM) and Santos, delivered planning, procurement, construction, and pre-commissioning services. Despite challenging conditions, Altrad ensured all rectification works were completed safely and within the client’s fast-tracked schedule.
Scope:
Planning and procurement of materials.
Construction and pre-commissioning services, including:
- Structural works.
- Mechanical and piping installations.
- Electrical and instrumentation tasks.
Outcomes:
- Successfully closed out all warranty works within the 20-week timeframe.
- Completing brownfield rectification works within a seven-day shutdown duration for each compressor.
- Executing the project in a remote location, requiring careful coordination of logistics and subcontractors.
